• Visitors are welcome at Liberty Schutzhund Club.  Please just give us a call ahead of time and let us know you're coming!
  • All dogs must be under the immediate control of their handlers at all times.  Dogs are not permitted to run free and must be on leash except when specifically working on off-lead training exercises, at which time the dog must remain in the handler’s control.  Handlers bear sole responsibility for any damage to person or property caused by their dog(s).
  •  Dogs must be kept secure within a vehicle or crate when not actively training.
  •  Within reason, dogs must be kept quiet when not training.  Incessant barking is a distraction for all and a disturbance to the neighbors.
  •  Dogs are to be kept a respectable distance from one another and are not permitted to socialize with one another during training.
  •  Everyone is responsible for picking up after themselves and their dog(s).
  •  Unless actively participating in the training or handling of a dog, children are not permitted on the training field during training sessions and must be kept to the sidelines.  Children must be under the direct supervision of their parent/guardian or a designated babysitter at all times.  By choosing to bring a child to Liberty Schutzhund Club training or events, the child’s parent/guardian has chosen to subject the child to the dangers inherent in dog training, and accepts all responsibility for the child’s safety and conduct.
  • Club members are welcome to bring guests to come watch training, and will be responsible for ensuring that any visitors they invite to the club also abide by the club rules.
